Mediation Northwest provides education related mediation and facilitation services, including special education due process mediation, special education complaint mediation, “504" mediation, individualized education program (IEP) meeting facilitation, inter district mediation, education workplace mediation, and organizational conflict resolution training.

As with all mediation and facilitation services, all parties must agree to use Mediation Northwest to provide mediation or facilitation services.

Resources. The Oregon Department of Education http://www.ode.state.or.us/
is a very helpful resource for districts, educators, and parents for information relating to education-related conflict. The Oregon Parent Training Initiative http://www.open.org/~orpti/
is a very informative resource for parents and provides, on a limited basis, parent advocacy information and services. Finally, CADRE http://www.directionservice.org/cadre/index.cfm
is also a wonderful resource for special education matters.
